The Best Comic TV Shows
Comic books have literally been slammed into everything: movies, games, TV shows, and whatever else you can name. Everyone wants to have a slice and create something with the characters (because they're just that good).
There are soooo many comic book TV shows that it's hard to keep count. But we have done a little digging for you guys and made a list of the 10 best Comic Book TV Shows of all time.
We know that you are at home because of quarantine (and it sucks big time), but now you can binge-watch all these shows and get a break from this chaotic world!

Smallville
This show ran for a decade… the run time should reveal that this is some good shit! The story revolves around Clark Kent (Oh Yeah!) and his journey through High School... way before he becomes Superman.
The show didn't have a lot of meat in it, but the creators somehow managed to make it sound good. But it's got Clark Kent, so we are not complaining. The show has everything... Romance, high school drama, and murders. (Well, that escalated quickly!)
The story is unpredictable, and you can never tell what happens next.
-
Arrow
This show started as a tribute to Batman Begins🦇, but the show is so damn good that it's still running on TV!
An alternate description: the creators dressed up Batman differently, got rid of the belt, and added some arrows. WOOSH: We have Arrow.
The story gets dark (as Arrow deals with drama around him). Still, the creators lighten it up by introducing a Flash-like character. but Yet, as true Arrow fans, we enjoy it when things turn scary.
(We wear the best comfiest comic-book hoodies while watching and keep the lights ON though!)
-
Lucifer
Lucifer features the King of Hell 😈(with some abs!) in all his glory. The show is all kinds of fun: you see Lucifer hanging around in the clubs of LA and doing weird shit. The creators have gone all out on creating the storyline... using a tiny shred from a character and making a whole show out of it (which is so good that we are not complaining).
Fact: the premise of the show is based on a character that was featured in Sandman.
-
Supergirl
No, we are not being biased with the Superman TV Shows (they are terrific!). Super Girl is the story of Superman's cousin who is finding her way around the Earth. The show highlights some very grave realities of the world. But the best part about the show is that, yes, you guessed it, it's a woman-led show!
(HELL YEAH TO GIRL POWER💪).
-
Gotham
Yeah, we know that the start of Gotham was all over the place… they threw everything on the wall, hoping that something would stick (oops). Still, the show redeemed itself like a cold pizza slice that just tastes better after a few hours (don't say you haven't tried it).
After the show killed Bruce's parents, it went on with all guns blazing and turned into something no one expected. It's dark, unpredictable, and just some good old Batman's universe y'all.
Okay, we know that you're getting impatient... go watch that show because we are wrapping the list up with some quick honorable mentions!
-
Young Justice
Young Justice has been deprived of Justice itself (no kidding). The show took a decade to complete 3 seasons (blame the producers). But there's a lesson to learn here: if you are good, then no one can stop you. The show is a fresh take on DCs sidekicks: they're not side characters here. It's their story, and they are the heroes.
Not a spoiler… but the characters genuinely shine like superheroes as the story progresses.
-
The Flash
A new villain every week and Flash beating the hell out of goons? Yeap! that describes it perfectly. But the show is not tedious at all – Grant Gustin is speedy (and he's got abs).
If you've had a lousy week, Flash will be your bet!
-
Daredevil
Daredevil stands true to its name.
The creators have dared to show all sides of the Devil. The good, the bad, and the ugly (like a mocktail). It's not for the lighthearted (as hell rains upon the criminals); the scenes are nasty, but you just can't take your eyes off of the screen as the story will keep you hooked!
(Psssst...you may not even be able to have your popcorn)
-
Preacher
The show’s tone is not preachy, but there are plenty of lessons to be learned here! The main character starts with being the bad guy (drinks and smokes), but the story takes him on a roll as he is infused with a superpower
(no spoilers, sorry).
-
The Tick
The Tick, in a tick suit, ticking all the ticks (of the city). The show features the tick who exısts to fight all the city's goons. It's like Batman, but the costume is a bit goofy!
The show is filled with humor that will make you chuckle (ending the list in a lighter mood, ha-ha).
