The Best Comic Book Video Games of All Time

· Comments

Comic books are often packed with fighting sequences that are just too good to be on a piece of paper! Some genius men (people ha-ha) thought that they needed to make video games out of these stories.

While some are just made to gather cash, a few creators have put their blood sweat, and tears (no not that BTS song lol) into these games… that do make a lot of cash, but people go crazy over them, just because the games are plain genius!

We have made a list of the best comic book games of all time… so you can entertain yourself in quarantine.

  1. Marvel’s Avengers

Well... the title itself sounds like a dream. All the Avengers under your control? Yes, that’s right. Marvel’s Avengers was released in 2020 (don’t worry it's safe from the 2020 curse lol). It was developed by Crystal Dynamics and published by Square Enix.

The game is just at par with the Marvel movies. And the best part is that you are the director.

Do what you want with the character... Cuz it's your world baby! (Avengers assemble)

  1. Batman: Arkham Asylum

There is no competition when it comes to Batman games. Batman: Arkham Asylum was released in 2009 but the game has passed the test of time and still holds its ground when gamers talk about their favorite games.
Ain’t no CS: Go can compete with the OG Batman series. The game was successful in catching the true vibe of an asylum. It gets creepy as you play along – but it’s all worth it (don’t play with your lights out ha-ha).

You can pull a comic book hoodie over your eyes if it gets scary!

  1. Marvel’s Spider-Man

This is for all the Spidey fans out there! This game is known for being a true storytelling stellar. The creators proved that games could have their storyline… you can do a lot more than the regular pow pow action.

If you want to add a gem to your collection... Marvels’ Spider-Man is your best bet.

  1. Deadpool

Nolan North’s voice and Deadpool’s character exploring the storyline with just the right amount of puns! That sounds like a dream doesn’t it? Well, the creators of Deadpool just made that dream come true.

Deadpool is one of its kind... a true case of creators putting in effort, rather than just cashing out the success of the comic book.

  1. Judge Dredd: Dredd Vs. Death

Critics have named Judge Dredd: Dredd Vs. Death, the game of noobs. Because it does not have fancy shapancy graphics or complex gameplay. But let’s be real here – sometimes all we want is a simple game and some paw paw action. This game is exactly that.

Just fold your legs, lay back, and enjoy the gameplay using just one hand with a sassy comic book shirt on.

  1. Telltale The Walking Dead

The Walking Dead fans may get disappointed as the creators of the game have introduced brand new characters for the game. But that’s the best part about it! The players will know nothing about the game… every turn is a surprise.

Will the zombies eat you up at the next step? What’s in that house? See… you can go and explore the game as there are no spoilers!

Sequels are often unpopular as they do not impress the audience but, X-MEN LEGENDS: RISE OF APOCALYPSE is a tad bit different. The game is filled with action and storytelling prowess – X-Men beating up all the villains!
Go help the X-MEN and break some bones... (only in the game okay)

We know you just want to go and play some video games! So we will wrap it up with some honorable mentions!

You know when you want to break everything in your room after you have had a bad day? Ha! You can’t do that in real life because your mom may kill you... but THE INCREDIBLE HULK: ULTIMATE DESTRUCTION is made just for that.

Just jump into the game and break anything you want to... it won't cost you any money and your mom will be happy! (just don’t binge play lol)

The perfect game to play with your pals as there is something for everyone. From Wonder Woman (go girl power) to Captain Cold.

You are in for a ride that will blow you away.

Ouch… was that a Lego that you just stepped on? Lol, we all have in such situations. But don’t worry LEGO MARVEL HEROES won’t hurt you.

It is the best that the Lego creators have come up with.
